Udgam plays the role of a development facilitator for disadvantaged and backward com-munities through the mobilization and upliftment of women, widows, landless farmers, unemployed youth and marginalised children. Udgam Charitable Trust is a grass root level, secular and development oriented not for profit organization popularly known as UDGAM, which is convinced that sustainable community development is only possible if and when all elements such as economic, social, political, environmental and cultural are brought together and systematically integrated. Community development is feasible only if all segments of the society are mobilized weaker women, widows who are not treated equally, marginal farmers jobless youth, poor children who do not receive any education!!
